Meet Dr. Patrick Burkardt, Dentist with Advanced Training in Sedation and Surgery

A Strong Foundation in Service and Skill

Dr. Patrick Burkardt graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry as a top graduate in his class. After earning his dental degree, he served as a dentist in the United States Air Force for five years, where he enhanced his dental and surgical skills. Dr. Burkardt was selected to attend an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency with the Air Force, where he received advanced training in intravenous sedation with special emphasis on oral surgery procedures. He graduated as top resident in oral surgery and I.V. sedation.

 

Committed to Continued Growth and Excellence

Following residency, Dr. Burkardt served at F.E. Warren Air Force Base in Cheyenne, Wyoming. There, he expanded his dental experience, performing hundreds of I.V. sedations and dental surgeries. Dr. Burkardt is continually advancing his education through ongoing coursework in dental anesthesiology, dental surgery, and dental implantology. He is a proud member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology.

Giving Back Through Dentistry and Beyond

Dr. Burkardt is passionate about service—both at home and abroad. He has volunteered on several dental mission trips to Honduras, the Dominican Republic, and Guatemala, and also volunteers locally through the Colorado Mission of Mercy. He looks forward to continuing his mission work throughout his career.

Exploring Colorado’s Outdoors

In his spare time, Dr. Burkardt loves experiencing all that Colorado has to offer. He enjoys hiking, backpacking, rock climbing, skiing, and camping. He also enjoys traveling and visiting his family back in Michigan.
